“Happy place” is an expression that carries a variety of personal meanings. You can learn a lot about someone by seeing the different ways they define this common phrase.
My family is my happy place. My husband, Moses, and I have been married since 1993. We have two kids, Jake & Macy, who, in addition to their father, completely have my heart. Our kids both graduated from Fossil Ridge - Go Sabercats!
Northern Colorado is my happy place. Our family moved from Omaha to Loveland in 1998. Jake & Macy were little people back then. They played football, soccer, lacrosse, and we were right alongside volunteering our time coaching and managing their teams. As the kids grew, we found ourselves with more time to invest into our business. Our company, Horner Painting, has grown to be one of Northern Colorado’s largest and most respected residential painting companies. My duties were accounting, billing, payroll, and management of our office team. In my free time, I like to get outside. You can find me on my road bike, on my mountain bike, or playing in a women’s soccer league. My favorite moments are those spent on our patio laughing with family & friends.
I have served at Big Thompson Elementary School as a PTO Volunteer, PTO Secretary and PTO President. I was the team manager for Girls U98 Arsenal Gold soccer team and our family attends Mill City Church. I am on the Board of RamStrength, part of the Lubick Foundation, a local non-profit which helps provide basic needs for cancer patients & their families.
Real estate is my happy place and I am proud to be a Broker Associate/Partner with The Group, Inc. Real Estate. I believe home ownership was the first step in putting our family onto the path of financial security. In 2004, we began purchasing investment properties. I handled marketing, accounting, and contracts. Our real estate portfolio started with a dream, moved to a plan, and has grown from one home to 10 rental properties in Fort Collins and Greeley with over 75 tenants. I am poised to bring that same singular focus to your next real estate transaction.
What about you? Each person, every family, and each home has its own unique story. What’s your story? How do you fit into the fabric of Northern Colorado? I will make it my purpose to listen and understand you and your story. I will communicate with you often and in detail. I understand the need to work hard as well the necessity to work smart. I will earn your trust. Whether you are buying or selling your first home or your dream home, it would be an honor to help you find your happy place.
